Let's Build an Orphanage-MercyHouse
Mercy House of The Philippines is a residential care shelter for street boys ages10-17 at admission. The goal of Mercy House is to offer street boys a new life through holistic care that includes a REAL home, excellent education, medical care, discipleship and, hopefully, a new life in Jesus. For those boys who are truly orphaned, we can help them be adopted. For those who are not, we are honored to be their family for as long as they need us.
Mercy House has occupied a beautiful center for the last two years but that center is being repurposed as a "baby home" by the owner. We have a beautiful piece of land that is owned by Mercy House free and clear in another province. And now we need to build our own center so our boys have a place that is their TRUE home, once and for all! No more moving! We need to raise funds to build a center large enough to serve 25 boys - house them, educate them on site and offer independent living skills such as a shop for small engine repair and a computer lab for technical skills.

We always thought we had years to slowly plan and build our "dream center" for our boys. We now know we need to move as soon as possible.
