Leslie Adams House Fire

Hi Friends,

My name is Ben Dixon, the local elder at Christ Community Church Streamwood, and I'm hosting a fundraiser for Leslie Adams, a long-time attendee of our local congregation.

Les has been out of work since Covid and as he's been working to transition into his next career tragedy hit his family on April 13th.

His son who has lived at the house the last 15 years received a series of disappointing news with both his driver’s license and health, in a moment of weakness lashed out and both burglarized Les's room and set the house on fire. The police have arrested His son, and it's going to be 6-12 months before Les can move back into his renovated home.

For those of you that know Les, he's physically handicapped at this time, has mobility challenges, and has now lost all his belongings.

He's literally living in a motel down the road, working through processing the insurance needs to rebuild his home and replace his home furnishings.

It's a desperate time for his family, and we've set up this page to be a tool for anyone who would like to be a blessing during the transition time between his living needs and the rebuilding of his home.

Grateful for every gift no matter the amount. Funds will be used for food and living expenses during the transition and the processing of the home repairs.
