Lesbos Refugee Crisis

Hello, we are five students from the Moody Bible Institute studying abroad in Greece. Yesterday, we were presented with the opportunity to participate in a service project to the island of Lesbos, Greece which is off the coast of Turkey. The Middle Eastern refugee crisis has caused Lesbos to become a sanctuary for people fleeing their countries.

We accepted the opportunity and will be heading out today, August 8th, to help out. We will be returning on the morning of the 15th to our campus in Pikermi. The five of us have fronted the money for the trip, so we are raising support to help with the costs, and also to help the organization.

While there, we will be serving food, passing out clothes, and helping with anything else the camp needs.
