Leonid Pihulevych Memorial Fund

Donación protegida

We lost a friend, neighbor, and member of our congregation, Leonid (Leo) Pihulevych, on the afternoon of Monday, August 16.

Leo was driving alone on 5000 E off Poleline Road and crashed, with no other cars or drivers involved. Funeral plans are yet to be announced, as the family is waiting for information on whether family will be able to travel from Ukraine.

Leo had just graduated in Accounting with a minor in Economics from BYU-Idaho. He recently completed an internship with CBIZ in Bakersfield, California, and was set to move his family and start work with them as soon as his visa paperwork went through, sometime this fall.

Leo is survived by his wife, Natalia, son, Adam (11), and daughter, Mia (7). Both Leo and Natalia's parents and extended family live in Ukraine. The family's only car was totalled in the accident, and, because they had planned to move to California soon, their lease expires in two weeks. Neighbors and friends are helping the family find a home in the Rexburg, Idaho, area, where Natalia and the kids want to stay.

Our thoughts, prayers, and support go to Natalia, Adam, and Mia.
