Lending Hands To Help Australia

Donation protected
What do you think of this? Are you interested in helping in Australia? Many of us want to help but are unable to travel there to help in person. Many aren’t sure who to donate to because it is outside the US. Please consider donating to help me help Australia. I can only be there a short time and in the grand scheme of it all, it will hardly put a dent in the damage done there by the fires. In reality, it will take decades to recover what has been destroyed but I can’t stand by and do nothing when I am able to go lend a helping hand. Some species of animals are now at risk of being made extinct and the fires are still burning. The total devastation to the animals, the ecosystem, and environment will not be fully known for quite some time. I just know that I have the time and am willing to go help. Any and all support would be greatly appreciated! My name is Wesley Zufelt and I am deeply saddened by the devastation they are facing all over the continent. Back in the 90s, I lived in Australia for two years. I made many dear friends and fell in love with the wildlife. I am a US Army Veteran and currently a stay at home dad of 8 kids, with my 9th serving on active duty in the Army. When the kids are in school I do have some free time on my hands and I feel compelled to take action in support of Australia. I have the support of family and friends to help with my family back home while I head out to Australia. I have purchased airline tickets and leave the US on January 18th to spend a few weeks helping the Animal Collective Rescue. I signed up to volunteer to feed animals and drive around supplies. For those willing to help out in this endeavor, the money donated will go strictly towards a small truck rental as well as the purchase of needed fuel and supplies, such as all the water I can transport and other supplies needed locally. I am willing to travel wherever I am needed and I want to have hydration and snacks available to provide to first responders that I encounter along the way. Any and all donations not used for these purposes will be given to the Animal Collective Rescue to continue their work. This will be a great way to see your donation in immediate action. I plan to document the whole trip on my Go pro as best I can, and go live on Facebook when able. I will share pictures so those that have helped can see how they helped Australia. I am not the best narrator nor a newscaster/journalist, I am just a regular guy on a mission so understand that my video journal will not be perfect but I want to share my journey and our efforts at helping bring recovery and healing to the beautiful continent of Australia. Please share this where you are able. Thank you for your support. And HEY! If you are interested in joining me on the trip, let me know and I will send you when/where and what time my flights are if you want to sync flights or just meet up there.
