One of our own, Nrishinga Nitai das is a pujari who has dedicated his life to the personal care of our Beloved Lord and Lady, Sri Sri Radha and Krishna.

He is a father who loves his twin children,


a husband who proudly supports his wife’s dedication to teaching and caring for the children of Sri Vrindavan Dhama, India,


and a devoted disciple of his Gurumaharaja, Srila Jayapataka Swami.

 

And right now, he is in desperate need of our help.

“Serving the deities is all he ever wanted to do, yet somehow last year, life took an unexpected turn when his kidneys failed and he ended up on dialysis.

My husband, Nrishinga Nitai das, is a simple pujari from a remote village in the Guwahati countryside in Assam. His only scope is to do deity service, and to take care of his beloved late-life twins; he dreams of seeing them marry and start their own lives as faithful devotees of the Lord.

Instead, unless somehow he is able to have a kidney transplant very soon, he risks becoming just a memory for his children.

We are staying and serving in Sri Vrindavan Dhama where I run a school project for the devotee children. The school is wonderful, but as it's new, I earn no income from the all-consuming service, so on our own, we simply cannot afford the transplant.

In order to have the operation done, we need to stay for some time in a major city where government-run transplant-granting hospitals are located. There, my husband can put his name on the list for a donor, and get proper interim care until the transplant is possible.

Our best choice cities are either Guwahati (so that he can see his family), or Delhi, where he is already in the AIIMS (government hospital) system.”
