Lena Hinson’s funeral and medical expenses

Hello family and friends. I am writing you today to let you know about the passing of Lena Hinson. After undergoing surgery on Monday, July 27th for a hysterectomy, Lena was given pain medication. When she arrived home on Tuesday, July 28th she was in severe pain and one too many pain pills resulted in an unexpected overdose. After attempting to revive her, she regained a pulse and was put on life-support. After multiple neurological tests and multiple efforts, she was pronounced brain dead on August 2nd. Lena’s daughters and husband decided that they no longer wanted to prolong her pain and suffering and removed her from life-support. At 3:57PM August 2nd, 2020 Lena passed away. Lena was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. This tragedy has left her family heartbroken and struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the services. I have started this account to help them in anyway we can. Any donation will help and we are so grateful for everyone’s thoughts, prayers and support in this time of need. I will update here later with more details such as funeral arrangements and Lena’s obituary when that information becomes available.
