Hi! My name is Drew Schwemer and I'm enrolled in the RTF program at ACC. I have chosen to take on an ambitious project for my final Portfolio film. I wrote and directed an 18-page screenplay that I am also editing, sound mixing, and color-correcting about hikers in the woods attacked by a menacing presence. This film will be an ode to the traditional slashers of the 70s and 80s while also seeking to prove that these movies can have substance, plot, and character behind them. In order to succeed in that mission, I could not slack on production design and execution. I personally spent $1,377 on props, costumes, equipment, and food. More importantly, 5 actors and 23 crew members put their trust in me to create something worthwhile by pouring their blood and sweat into this project. We may have even had some tears after running around in spider-infested woods until 2am.

I am starting this GoFundMe not only to recoup my costs but to pay the cast and crew the very minimum of what they deserve for the work they've selflessly donated toward my project.

Many things deserve your money more than my little movie, so I waited to start this until after the film finished shooting. I want you to see the effort that was put in, the results of those efforts, and to know that these dollar amounts are not estimations. They are firm amounts with receipts.
