Fernando Gonzalez "Big Fern" was a wonderful father to three young men.  Sadly, the Lord, called him home on June 1st 2017.  Fernando went to the hospital complaining of pain and he passed away hours later of mutiple organ failure.  My father battled diabetes and still fought to provide for his family.
Remembering my dad he always wanted the best for my brothers and I, even though we didn't have much my dad worked to help us with anything we needed including the best advice when the family would go through rough times. When my dad passed he took apart of me I won't get back until I see him again.   I didn't only lose a father but I lost my best friend too.
This time has been very financially trying for our family.  Those of you that know me know that our life has not been easy.  My family always tries to handle the situations we're faced on our own, but this fight I know my family and I can't do on our own. I  never thought i'd see the day I would make a GoFund me account for any situation but the funeral costs, hospital bills and burial are very expensive.  
Currently, my mother isn't able to work due to health issues and right now all is falling on me to provide for the funeral.  I am giving all I have but it isn't enough.  I want to be able to bury my dad and give him a proper goodbye.  I know this is important for me but really it matters for my little brother Benny. He  is only 10 years old and I want him to be able to say goodbye to his dad.  

At this point anything helps and if there is anything left over after the funerals cost we  will create an account for Benny's education and sports activites.  I am overwhelmed with the road ahead of me but I won't lose the faith I have in God.  We will be forever grateful.
