LAVENDER PROM IS ON, Y'ALL! We are still gladly accepting donations but with the additional "in person" donations given by our community as well as a super successful auction that raised $1000, we are ready for April 20! Students, go to www.lavenderprom.com to buy your tickets and let us know at [adresse e-mail supprimée] if you need help purchasing. We've also been gifted tons of wonderful, glam formalwear and are hosting a free formal wear shopping experience on March 30 from 3 to 6 at Morning Glory Yoga Studio 2 (207 E Main St, Nacogdoches) for anyone attending Lavender Prom. We'll sell tickets there for $10 each, too! Please spread the work and THANK YOU again to all of our donors!

Every student deserves a prom. Not every student in East Texas has one because of discriminatory school policies. For the last three years, several high schools in the region have cancelled prom because same-sex couples wanted to attend. And for the last three years, allies and members of the LGBT+ community have raised enough money to organize a prom for ALL youth in the area, of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations. We need your help to do it again and make it even more of a success. Almost 100 students attended last year and we're expecting even more this year. Wherever you are, please give what you can and we'll all show our students how much we continue to care about them.
Any business, church, or other organization that donates $100 or more and would like to be recognized at the event, we will proudly display your name at the prom so that students can see how much our community supports them. We will also take out an ad in the local paper (Nacogdoches's Daily Sentinel) to thank all of our sponsors by name. Please leave a comment with your donation if you would like for us to include your name in our list of sponsors. We also respect your anonymity, if preferred and indicated.
