It with deep sadness that we share the passing of our mother, Laurie Pauze on Monday, May 12. While grief fills our hearts, we know she would have wanted her legacy to be one of compassion, especially for animals. She always found joy in helping those in need, and spending time with her dogs.

On top of her passing and costs associated with the funeral, her beloved youngest yellow lab, Elle, must now undergo surgery on her ACL. As many know funeral costs are not cheap, but we covered those! We’ve been asked over and over how and where donations can be made in her honor, I think ensuring we take the burden off my father to cover the cost of the surgery would be her first wish and any additional money raised will be donated to the Middleboro Animal Shelter in her name/honor. She loved her hometown and animals so donating to this shelter seems like the best idea.

Your generosity, in memory of our mother, will make a huge difference in her dog’s life and allow my father to have one less item to stress about while he grieves the loss of his wife of 41 years.
