Medical Mission Trip to Kenya

Thanks to Thrive, I will be traveling with three classmates to Nairobi, Kenya for two weeks in August to work within The Jackson Clinic's Teach and Treat program. I will be treating patients while learning alongside other physical therapy students in Kenya.  Please consider supporting my fundraising efforts for my trip to Kenya.

"The mission of the Jackson Clinics Foundation, Inc is to help improve the standard of clinical practice within Ethiopia and Kenya for better delivery of consistent, high quality physical therapy care to their communities. We seek to graduate advanced practitioners who can lead their communities and their local profession in the advancement of clinical care and education....Since inception we have sent over 80 volunteer doctors of physical therapy to Kenya doing two week rotations each teaching either didactic education in the classroom or providing clinical mentoring of our students. These volunteers have come from the Jackson Clinics staff, from Colleges and Universities throughout the USA, and from expert clinicians with teaching backgrounds. We are very appreciative of the dedication of our volunteers."
