Lauren Thompson Memorial Scholarship

Lauren Thompson was tragically killed November 8, 2022 in a car accident. Lauren was a teacher at Chesterton Middle School. Lauren grew up in the River Forest School Corporation. Many of us at RF have the privilege of claiming her as one of our students. As a community, we want to do something to honor her memory. We decided to create a scholarship in her name that will be given to an RF senior who will be attending college to become a teacher. I don't know how the scholarship will work until we have final numbers, but I'm hoping to have this as one that is given every year at graduation.
