Lauren Elizabeth's Legacies

"Our beautiful Lauren Elizabeth Stuart:

On October 24th, we lost our intelligent, beautiful, complex daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Stuart, after she gave birth to two babies, Harrison Hall Stuart, 5 lbs. ten ounces, and Gabriel Hall Stuart, 4 lbs. seven ounces. Lauren was suffering from severe preeclampsia and chronic anemia at the time of giving birth. Simply put, she was worn out, and after the babies were delivered perfectly, her body hemorrhaged, and three trauma surgeons, two OBGYNs, and a cadre of nurses were defeated. She was afraid because of the severity of her condition yet remained brave and stalwart to the very end, and true to her very original form, she outdid herself, leaving us with one last surprise of delivering twins instead of one baby.

Lauren loved the Lord and her family, notably Bryant Jr., Olivia, Kayren, Arianna, and baby Jace. Her last over-the-top feat was Harrison and Gabriel, who remain in the neonatal ICU where Gabriel works through a heart issue, which we believe will be self-healing.

Lauren was loved by many and had many friends from all walks of life. She was intelligent, strong, and resolute when putting her mind to something. Michelle, Stephen, and I were with her to the end, overwhelmed with heartache and sick with grief. We ache, but at the same time, we must plan for the future and care for these seven beautiful, often remarkable babies.

Often, we go through life questioning why we are here and our purpose, but we believe that Lauren was to come and deliver these beautiful and unique seven souls, and her work was completed, and she went home to the Lord." - Bill Stuart

No parent should ever have to post those words, unfortunately, my cousin Michelle and her husband Bill, had this unbearable task this past Monday.

Lauren left her legacy through her seven beautiful children. As her family picks up the pieces and scrambles to welcome two brand new babies home, as well as provide for all seven, we thought we could lend a hand with that most precious job bestowed upon them.
