Last Good Bye - Ultimo Adios para Lizan

Beforehand we would like to thank everyone who has been supporting our family in this horrid situation. We have created this fundraiser in order to raise money to cover necessary costs in order to give my brother his last good-bye and for additional expenses needed for our mother to be able to see him one last time.

On September 15th at around 7:15 PM in Pflugerville, Texas my brother, Lizan Velez passed away at just 19 years old. He was involved in a motorcycle accident at the condominium where our older brother lived. He and I came to visit our older brother, he began to try out a motor bike when he lost control of it and crashed into a parked truck. He lost his life instantly, there was not time to aid or assist him. He suffered from to many internal traumas after the impact. We are all immigrants in this country, and came in search of a better life, however his ended too soon. We want to use the funds in order to pay for funeral expenses and for the time to preserve his corpse while our mother obtains a humanitarian visa to give her son his las good-bye. We will appreciate all donations and if everyone could kindly share to reach as many people as possible. Myself, brothers, and sister are alone in this country and have been here for less than a year, we are all young and with families, and though we are staying strong and united at this moment, financially we need assistance. This is very devastating to us and we are trying to cope with with the best way possible.

My brother Lizan Velez was very charismatic, funny, and loving. He was always joking around with everyone in the family and his smile enlighten the whole room. We dearly miss him and truly wish that our mother could say good-bye to him one last time.

De antemano nos gustaría agradecer a todos los que han apoyado a nuestra familia en esta horrible situación. Hemos creado esta recaudación de fondos con el fin de recaudar dinero para cubrir los costos necesarios para poder darle a mi hermano su último adiós y para gastos adicionales necesarios para que nuestra madre pueda verlo por última vez.

El 15 de septiembre alrededor de las 7:15 p.m. en Pflugerville, Texas, mi hermano, Lizan Velez, falleció con solo 19 años. Estuvo involucrado en un accidente de motocicleta en el condominio donde vivía nuestro hermano mayor. Él y yo fuimos a visitar a nuestro hermano mayor, él empezó a probar una moto cuando perdió el control y chocó contra un camión estacionado. Perdió la vida instantáneamente, no hubo tiempo para asistirlo o auxiliarlo. Sufrió muchos traumas internos tras el impacto. Todos somos inmigrantes en este país y vinimos en busca de una vida mejor, sin embargo, la suya terminó demasiado pronto. Queremos utilizar los fondos para pagar los gastos del funeral y el tiempo para preservar su cadáver mientras nuestra madre obtiene una visa humanitaria para darle el último adiós a su hijo. Apreciaremos todas las donaciones y si todos pudieran compartir para llegar a la mayor cantidad de personas posible. Yo, mis hermanos y mi hermana estamos solos en este país y hemos estado aquí por menos de un año, todos somos jóvenes y tenemos familias, y aunque nos mantenemos fuertes y unidos en este momento, necesitamos ayuda financiera. Esto es muy devastador para nosotros y estamos tratando de afrontarlo de la mejor manera posible.

Mi hermano Lizan Vélez era muy carismático, divertido y cariñoso. Siempre estaba bromeando con todos los miembros de la familia y su sonrisa iluminaba toda la habitación. Lo extrañamos muchísimo y realmente deseamos que nuestra madre pudiera despedirse de él por última vez.
