Spende geschützt

Hey, my name is Heather and it’s always been my dream to own a tri-colour Welsh Pembroke corgi.
After being made redundant in May 2025, and my mental health taking a dive, we made the choice to welcome a puppy into our family.
We brought her home on Tuesday 24th June at 12 weeks old and the bond her and I have already is incredible.
After finding an infestation of adult fleas on her (the vet confirmed she will have caught these with the breeder), we took her to the vets on Sunday 29th June for a health check.
During this assessment it was found that Lani has Lingually Displaced Canines (LDDC) which is a genetic condition where her lower canines are digging into to the soft palatte/gums in her upper jaw. This should have been picked up at her puppy assessments with the breeder.
The only way to correct this is surgery, which needs to be performed as soon as possible before her adult teeth come in.
She will then need therapy to correct her jaw as her adult teeth come in, which may incur further costs.
As this condition is genetic it is not covered under her insurance, so we need help to cover these costs.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
