Help LANEY & LU Nourish the Local Community

Since mid-March, LANEY & LU  has been activating the local community to contribute free meals to those that need it most during this difficult time. In just over one month, we’ve served more than 1,500 free, nutritious meals to our healthcare workers, caretakers, first responders and the underserved.

In late April, in response to an even greater need, we set a bold goal of reaching a new milestone of serving 3,500 free meals. We are 70% of the way toward this new goal!

NOURISHMENT
Those working the front lines or experiencing food scarcity are feeling unprecedented stress due to the COVID19 pandemic. Our food is nutrient dense, energizing and supports a healthy immune system. In addition, our operational values maximize and prioritize exceptional safety and sanitization.

MISSION
LANEY & LU’s mission is to create real food and drink that nourishes holistically and inspires community. This program allows us live into our mission and our deeper need to connect and contribute to something bigger than ourselves,

TEAM
Our Founder/CEO, Jennifer Desrosiers, made a bold commitment to maintain employment and labor hours for our entire team of 16 while foregoing her own salary. In a time when so many are experiencing loss of employment, our team is able to work in service of others while providing for their own families.

SMALL BUSINESS
LANEY & LU has continued to support more than two dozen local farmers, merchants and fellow small businesses.

CONTRIBUTION
We have a proven track record of giving. In 2018 & 2019, LANEY & LU contributed approximately $20,000 in monetary and food donations to local community, academic and non-profits organizations. We are committed to continuing to give additional free meals and resources during this time.
