Land Purchase for Community Garden!

Our East Augusta community has a very limited availability of healthy, affordable fruits, vegetables and flowers. We have no grocery stores in our community but we do have an abundance of convenience stores, dollar stores and fast food restaurants.  We also have a blight problem with abandoned buildings, vacant and overgrown lots becoming common. I want to do a 2-n-1 solution. I want to purchase a vacant, overgrown lot that sits in the middle of my neighborhood and turn it into a community garden co-op. I want to create 3 experiences for our youth ages 8-22:  (1)growing their own food, (2)running their own business and (3)helping their community to be better.  

An investor, Vetted Investments, that has agreed to match dollar for dollar in donations that we collect to purchase the land, have the land cleared, and purchase materials and equipment to start our community garden. Whether it's $1, $10, 100 or $1000, every dollar counts. For every $500 donation, you will be listed as a founding member of the garden.
