Lancaster Music Cooperative vs My Legs

Me and my neighbour/pal Mark Smith (not the lad from The Fall) are going to walk the virtual London marathon. We aren't running because that would be mad. We'll be doing it at the same time as the folks down South but following our own route and recording progress through their marathon app. Local like.

To mark the occasion, we'd like to try and raise some money for an important local cause. Lancaster Music Cooperative was set up in 1985 for local musicians to rehearse and record in an area that didn't have these facilities. Unfortunately, due to issues with the building and funding problems it closed down a few years ago. However, they have council backing to repair the building and plan to re-open next year. My band Vex Message used to rehearse there and since it has been closed we've really missed the place. It's an important hub for the local music scene, so the sooner it opens the better!

I realise times are tough for everyone, but if you can spare a few bob it would be greatly appreciated. Much obliged.
