My name is Laila Robinson, and I am a high school student at TERRA Environmental Research Institute. I am an all-A student who aspires to become an engineer for a major theme park in Orlando, Florida. This year, to advance my studies and challenge myself, I applied to the Harvard Pre-College Program. On February 15, I was notified of my acceptance to take a 2-week physics course! The only downside was that on February 20, I was notified that only half of the program cost of $4600 would be covered, not including transportation to and from Cambridge, Massachusetts from where I live in Homestead, Florida. Your donation would provide the experience of a lifetime, allowing me to delve into a field heavily related to engineering and possibly be exempt from college credits that could allow me to expedite my college career while still being a high school student.
Your donation will go toward the remaining program cost of $2300 uncovered by financial aid, for my plane ticket to and from Cambridge, Massachusetts ($250), and for the charges that incur through GoFundMe.
Any donation is highly appreciated.
