Hello, my name is Justin Carlson and I am a Police Officer here in Maui Hawaii. On Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, Lahaina, Hawaii, was destroyed by a powerful wildfire. During which 70+ mph winds from Hurricane Dora whipped causing a massive firestorm which destroyed everything in its path. Most of Lahaina was burned to the ground. Many, many, many houses, businesses, and schools gone. An unfathomable amount of lives lost.
7 of our police officers and 2 recruits lost their homes including pretty much everything they owned. I know that there were many other s who were affected by this but this Go-FundMe is being created to get these officers the help that they deserve. Many, if not all, of these officers put their lives on the line for their community that day during the fire. I'm hoping this can give them some much needed help.
Im asking, that if you can, please donate something to these heroes. All funds raised will be split between these officers evenly. This is not being put on my any entity and solely being created and organized by myself.

These officers are close friends and colleagues of mine. Once the amount is met or a substantial amount in accrued I'll be contacting them and dispersing the funds evenly between them all and all taxes/fees from go fund me I'll be paid using the funds collected. The funds will be spent by officers to get their lives back on track the best they can.
