Lāhainā Fire Relief - Mano 'Ohana

Aloha everyone, my name is Emma Lyn Adolpho and I've started this go fund me in hopes of helping my aunty Gigi Mano and her 'ohana, who have lost everything but each other to the Lahaina fire. 

My Aunty and her ʻohana moved to Lahaina in 1997 to family land and resided there since. My Aunty, her daughter Nakala, son in law Keoni, and eight of her grandchildren (oldest 26 years old, youngest 17 months old) lived right there in the heart of Lahaina on Luakini street. Their home on Luakini housed generations of the Mano ʻohana and held many memories and loved ones, some who had passed prior to the fire. The ashes of her husband Larry (Lionel) Mano deceased (2013), and four year old granddaughter Kaiohu Kapu who passed in 2014 is now apart of the land where the house once stood. 

My Aunty Gigi has a huge heart and is always there to love on, support and care for those in need. When she had learned that their house was lost she said “it’s okay, main thing is the family is okay…” Not sure of the days ahead and what life will look like, one thing they can all say is, they're thankful to have each other. 

With nothing but each other and thankfully the cars they were able to flee in, the ʻohana is so very grateful for all the help and support they’ve received thus far.
