Lady the Chihuahua, Guardian Angels Dog Rescue

Meet Lady, she came into Guardian Angels Dog Rescue in March 2025 along with 2 other chihuahuas. When she arrived we saw that she couldn't walk well and after scans and xrays the vet told us that she needed surgery on both legs and it wasn't going to be cheap.

Last week we noticed she was getting a bit chubby and today the vet confirmed she has 3-4 pups and she's due any day now.

We aren't sure how this will go, she may need a c-section to deliver them safely.

Lady arrived with another female, we then found out she was pregnant but unfortunately the babies died inside and is now under a vet as she has a infection and isn't well.

As a small charity we struggle with vet bills normally but now there's 2, maybe 6 when the puppies are born. All needing vet treatment.
