La Crosse to Lambeau Ride Veteran’s Relief
Throughout the COVID pandemic, American Legion Post 77 of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin has continued to assist veterans who are in need. Unfortunately, during that same period, the Post has been unable to successfully hold fundraising activities to replenish our Veteran's Relief Fund. As a result, our fund is completely depleted.
To help remedy our depleted fund, I have volunteered to bicycle from La Crosse to Green Bay, Wisconsin to raise awareness of veterans challenges and to generate donations for American Legion Post 77’s Veteran's Relief Fund, a 501c19 non-profit organization.
The ride will be 225 miles and will take place during the last week of September. On behalf of the Post, I am asking family and friends to make donations.
We have secured matching funds donations from WESTconsin Credit Union, Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company, and an anonymous donor, which currently totals $2,500.00. This means that for every dollar you are able to donate, there is a matching dollar, up to $2,500! Please consider making a donation in any amount to help the veterans in our area. Every penny donated will go to Chippewa Falls veterans' relief!
