Chers amis des animaux et du Refuge de Cottendart,

Depuis près de 40 ans, la Fondation Neuchâteloise d'Accueil pour Animaux (FNAA) s'engage sans relâche pour protéger, soigner et accueillir les animaux en détresse du canton de Neuchâtel et des régions voisines.

Chaque jour, notre équipe veille au bien-être des animaux abandonnés, perdus, maltraités ou temporairement sans foyer. Grâce à votre soutien, nous avons pu poursuivre cette mission essentielle année après année. Aujourd'hui encore, les besoins sont immenses et notre engagement reste intact.

Cependant, l'année 2026 nous confronte à des défis financiers de plus en plus importants.

Comme de nombreuses organisations à but non lucratif, nous subissons de plein fouet l'augmentation générale des coûts. Les prix de l'énergie, des médicaments vétérinaires, de la nourriture pour les animaux et des fournitures indispensables à leur prise en charge ont fortement augmenté ces dernières années.

À cela s'ajoutent désormais les frais d'entretien de notre refuge, inauguré en 2017. Après plusieurs années d'utilisation intensive, des travaux deviennent nécessaires afin de garantir des conditions d'accueil optimales pour les animaux et un environnement de travail sûr pour notre personnel. Nous devons notamment faire face à des infiltrations d'eau, à des travaux de peinture, à la réparation de fissures ainsi qu'à diverses interventions techniques indispensables à la pérennité du bâtiment.

Malgré une gestion rigoureuse et les efforts constants de notre équipe, ces charges supplémentaires mettent aujourd'hui nos finances sous pression.

Objectif

Nous lançons cette collecte afin de réunir CHF 150'000.-, un montant qui nous permettra de:

• Assurer les soins vétérinaires des animaux recueillis ;

• Maintenir une alimentation de qualité adaptée à leurs besoins ;

• Faire face à l'augmentation des coûts d'exploitation du refuge ;

• Effectuer les travaux d'entretien indispensables du bâtiment ;

• Garantir la continuité de notre mission de protection animale.

Chaque don, quel que soit son montant, contribue directement au bien-être des animaux qui dépendent de nous.

Dear animal lovers and friends of the Cottendart Animal Shelter,

For nearly 40 years, the Neuchâtel Animal Shelter Foundation (FNAA) has been tirelessly dedicated to protecting, caring for, and providing shelter to animals in distress in the canton of Neuchâtel and neighboring regions.

Every day, our team ensures the well-being of animals that have been abandoned, lost, abused, or are temporarily homeless. Thanks to your support, we have been able to continue this vital mission year after year. Even today, the needs are immense, and our commitment remains unwavering.

However, the year 2026 presents us with increasingly significant financial challenges.

Like many non-profit organizations, we are bearing the brunt of rising costs across the board. Prices for energy, veterinary medications, animal food, and essential supplies for their care have risen sharply in recent years.

Added to this are the maintenance costs for our shelter, which opened in 2017. After several years of intensive use, repairs are now necessary to ensure optimal living conditions for the animals and a safe working environment for our staff. In particular, we must address water leaks, painting work, crack repairs, and various technical interventions essential to the building’s long-term sustainability.

Despite careful management and the constant efforts of our team, these additional expenses are now putting pressure on our finances.

We are launching this fundraiser to raise CHF 150,000, an amount that will allow us to:

• Provide veterinary care for the animals in our care;

• Provide high-quality food tailored to their needs;

• Cover the shelter’s rising operating costs;

• Carry out essential building maintenance;

• Ensure the continuity of our animal protection mission.

Every donation, no matter the amount, directly contributes to the well-being of the animals who depend on us.

Liebe Tierfreunde und Freunde des Tierheims Cottendart,

Seit fast 40 Jahren setzt sich die Fondation Neuchâteloise d'Accueil pour Animaux (FNAA) unermüdlich für den Schutz, die Pflege und die Aufnahme von Tieren in Not im Kanton Neuenburg und den angrenzenden Regionen ein.

Jeden Tag sorgt unser Team für das Wohlergehen von ausgesetzten, verlorenen, misshandelten oder vorübergehend heimatlosen Tieren. Dank Ihrer Unterstützung konnten wir diese wichtige Aufgabe Jahr für Jahr fortsetzen. Auch heute noch ist der Bedarf enorm, und unser Engagement ist ungebrochen.

Das Jahr 2026 stellt uns jedoch vor immer grössere finanzielle Herausforderungen.

Wie viele gemeinnützige Organisationen spüren wir den allgemeinen Kostenanstieg besonders stark. Die Preise für Energie, Tierarzneimittel, Tierfutter und unverzichtbare Hilfsmittel für die Tierpflege sind in den letzten Jahren stark gestiegen.

Hinzu kommen nun die Unterhaltskosten für unser 2017 eröffnetes Tierheim. Nach mehreren Jahren intensiver Nutzung sind Arbeiten notwendig geworden, um optimale Aufnahmebedingungen für die Tiere und ein sicheres Arbeitsumfeld für unsere Mitarbeitenden zu gewährleisten. Insbesondere müssen wir uns mit Wassereinbrüchen, Malerarbeiten, der Reparatur von Rissen sowie verschiedenen technischen Massnahmen befassen, die für den Erhalt des Gebäudes unerlässlich sind.

Trotz einer straffen Verwaltung und der unermüdlichen Bemühungen unseres Teams setzen diese zusätzlichen Kosten unsere Finanzen heute unter Druck.

Wir starten diese Spendenaktion, um CHF 150'000.- zu sammeln, eine Summe, die es uns ermöglichen wird:

• die tierärztliche Versorgung der aufgenommenen Tiere sicherzustellen;

• eine ihren Bedürfnissen angepasste, hochwertige Ernährung aufrechtzuerhalten;

• die gestiegenen Betriebskosten des Tierheims zu decken;

• die notwendigen Instandhaltungsarbeiten am Gebäude durchzuführen;

• die Kontinuität unserer Tierschutzarbeit zu gewährleisten.

Jede Spende, egal in welcher Höhe, trägt direkt zum Wohlergehen der Tiere bei, die auf uns angewiesen sind.

Warum Ihre Hilfe so wichtig ist

Hinter jedem Tier, das im Tierheim von Cottendart aufgenommen wird, verbirgt sich eine Geschichte. Die Geschichte eines ausgesetzten Hundes, der eine Familie findet, einer verletzten Katze, die die nötige Pflege erhält, oder eines verlorenen Tieres, das endlich zu seinem Besitzer zurückfindet.

Ihre Unterstützung sorgt dafür, dass diese Geschichten ein glückliches Ende nehmen.

Ohne Ihre Grosszügigkeit wäre es uns unmöglich, das Mass an Pflege und Engagement aufrechtzuerhalten, das die Tiere verdienen. Cari amici degli animali e del Rifugio di Cottendart,

Da quasi 40 anni, la Fondazione Neuchâteloise d'Accueil pour Animaux (FNAA) si impegna instancabilmente per proteggere, curare e accogliere gli animali in difficoltà del Cantone di Neuchâtel e delle regioni limitrofe.

Ogni giorno, il nostro team si prende cura del benessere degli animali abbandonati, smarriti, maltrattati o temporaneamente senza una casa. Grazie al vostro sostegno, abbiamo potuto portare avanti questa missione essenziale anno dopo anno. Ancora oggi, i bisogni sono immensi e il nostro impegno rimane immutato.

Tuttavia, il 2026 ci pone di fronte a sfide finanziarie sempre più impegnative.

Come molte organizzazioni senza scopo di lucro, subiamo in pieno l'aumento generale dei costi. I prezzi dell'energia, dei medicinali veterinari, del cibo per gli animali e delle forniture indispensabili per la loro cura sono aumentati notevolmente negli ultimi anni.

A ciò si aggiungono ora le spese di manutenzione del nostro rifugio, inaugurato nel 2017. Dopo diversi anni di uso intensivo, sono necessari dei lavori per garantire condizioni di accoglienza ottimali per gli animali e un ambiente di lavoro sicuro per il nostro personale. In particolare, dobbiamo far fronte a infiltrazioni d'acqua, lavori di tinteggiatura, riparazione di crepe e vari interventi tecnici indispensabili per la durata dell'edificio.

Nonostante una gestione rigorosa e gli sforzi costanti del nostro team, questi costi aggiuntivi mettono oggi sotto pressione le nostre finanze.

Lanciamo questa raccolta fondi per raccogliere CHF 150'000.-, una somma che ci permetterà di:

• Garantire le cure veterinarie degli animali accolti;

• Mantenere un'alimentazione di qualità adeguata alle loro esigenze;

• Far fronte all'aumento dei costi di gestione del rifugio;

• Eseguire i lavori di manutenzione indispensabili dell'edificio;

• Garantire la continuità della nostra missione di protezione degli animali.
