A Father’s Fight for His Daughters

After five years of working day and night, I’m asking for help to break free from toxic debt and finally give my two girls the stable, peaceful life they deserve.

My name is Max, and I’m the father of two amazing daughters, aged 10 and 14. I’m writing this with a heavy heart but also with hope — hope that, with your help, I can turn a page we’ve been stuck on for far too long.

Five years ago, I went through a painful and deeply disorienting divorce. What I thought was a life built on trust and love turned out to be built on lies and betrayal. It shattered our family and left behind more than emotional scars — it left a massive financial weight that continues to follow us every day.

Since then, I’ve been doing everything in my power to recover. I now work two jobs, pushing nearly 20 hours a day and 6 days in a week, just to survive and provide for my daughters. But the truth is, despite all the effort, I’m stuck — and the more I try to fix things, the more impossible it feels.

Why I'm Asking for Help—The total financial burden I’m facing today is overwhelming (€94,000). It includes debts created before, during, and after the divorce— some of which have become truly toxic.

Out of that, €42,850 is critical and urgent. These are the debts that directly affect our home, our safety to be together, and our basic survival.

But the worst part — What’s making things unbearable is a portion of this debt that is constantly growing, the part that is truly crushing — is a €24,793 segment of the debt due to bank charges, interest penalties, direct collection charges and late payment fees charges every single month. These charges alone absorb almost everything I manage to pay each month. Instead of reducing the actual debt, my payments are swallowed up by accumulating fees. No matter how hard I work, the original balances barely move — "it's like trying to fill a leaking bucket".

Despite working day and night, I’m falling further behind. And that’s what pushed me to open up and ask for help — not for luxuries, but for a chance to breathe, to reset, and to finally move forward.

Your support would make it possible to stop the cycle of endless fees and penalties, and allow me to finally use my income to care for my daughters and rebuild our future. Without this constant financial bleeding, I would be able to:
