My husbands childhood friend, Kym Nead, died suddenly on October 9th, 2021 at the age of 36. Kym loved fishing and he truly loved his friends. He would have given the shirt off his back to any one of them.

Kym’s mother Mary has had to bury both her sons. Her youngest son died in a tragic accident in 1998 at the age of 11. No parent should ever have to bury a child. Now unfortunately, Mary has been left with bills and the stress of having to repair Kym's home that was damaged in a fire months prior. Not to mention funeral costs. Finances can be a burden even at the best of times. I am hoping to alleviate some of this burden for Mary. During this unimaginable time, it would be beneficial for her to be able to grieve without worry.

It would mean a lot if we could all come together and chip in- if Kym’s watching down on us, I know he would truly appreciate us helping his mom out.

There is nothing stronger than the love between a mother and her son.
