Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM) is a non-profit organization that works closely out of the village of Kyampisi, bringing love to the people by providing a school & a church where they can come & worship Jesus. Right now, our desire is to see the Children's Church in the village come to completion. We are taking on this project step-by-step as the money comes in. Our first main focus will be to finish plastering the walls & then add paint to them. This would be around $400. Just doing those two things alone will make a huge difference in how the church looks & feels. Once we accomplish that, we want to put in a tile floor. Currently, the floors are cement & dirt. The tiles will be the most expensive part of the project, but it will also be the next most crucial change. After this, the details (like doors & glass for the windows) will be next. They are last because they are less necessary, but will make the church complete.
In total, we are estimating $1500 as our target to completely finish the building. We believe that we can do it with God's provision. It's a tall task but we never want to make the mistake of putting God in a box!
When we reach $200:
We'll be able to plaster the final wall.
When we reach $400:
We'll be able to plaster the final wall, then add primer & paint to make the walls bright & colorful (adding bible verses & stories like Noah's Ark).
When we reach $1000:
We'll be able to plaster the final wall, add primer & paint to make the walls bright & colorful (adding bible verses & stories like Noah's Ark), & then tile the entire floor.
When we reach $1500:
We'll be able to plaster the final wall, add primer & paint to make the walls bright & colorful (adding bible verses & stories like Noah's Ark), tile the entire floor, & then add the doors & windows.
