Period Poverty

Hey everyone , just a little post to ask for help! Me and my mam Heather Barker have joined forces after becoming aware of period poverty . Period poverty is when young girls and/or women are having to miss school, college, or even work because they can not afford sanitary products. There is a charity set up called The Red Box Project , this charity is run entirely by volunteers and collects sanitary products for people in need. As you can see from the photos me and my mam have been making sanitary pouches. Inside each of these pouches there are:- Night time pad, super pad, regular pad and a liner . These pouches will be donated to local schools for the girls. Having a period is part of the life of a girl/woman , however young girls at school can find it embarrassing having sanitary pads floating around their bags , so these little pouches keep them in one place and are less obvious if they do accidentally fall from their bags. Me and my mam are in desperate need of funds to purchase more fabric, interfacing, kam snaps, and thread so we can continue to make these pouches. Any help would be amazing, no matter how big or small the donation is it will all add up and go towards this fantastic cause.
