Help Me Further My Education

Hello! Hadley has been nominated by one of her teachers to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM at Oglethorpe University, GA in June of 2023! This is an amazing opportunity for Hadley to discover her personal strengths, and to begin to acquire the leadership and life skills needed for academic and career success!

Hadley will join other students from around the region in intensive, engaging, hands-on workshops focused on five skills that are essential to success: emotional awareness, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and goal setting. This program will provide Hadley with a creative, nurturing environment in which to understand and practice the skills of effective leadership and gain greater self-awareness and empathy. Hadley will even have the opportunity to explore future careers in three exciting STEM pathways: medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation.

Hadley is truly an amazing child! Anyone who has ever met her knows that she is incredibly smart, creative, always up for learning new things, a complete goofball, and loves making everyone she meets smile! She loves to read, loves being hands on with arts and crafts, she loves all manner of animals, and she truly has a heart of gold! Hadley excels in school and has made the All A Honor Roll every grading period for the last year! On top of exceling in her academics, Hadley is also part of her schools Student Council, Crochet Club and Spanish Club along with always getting involved/helping with her schools fundraisers and extracurricular activities.

This is an incredible opportunity for Hadley and we are so incredibly proud of her for all the hard work and effort she has put into her schooling that has allowed her to be recognized with this nomination. She cannot contain her excitement that she has been nominated and given this opportunity to be a part of something that will impact her educational future.

Here is the challenging part, the tuition is projected to cost in the area of upwards of $4000 which is why we are asking for sponsors or donations towards this large and unexpected cost. The forum is a 6-day/5-night residential program that provides 3 meals a day, room, board, and many of the educational/character development materials needed for the program.
