Kwasi Stampley Canada College Send Off!

Due to our family's crazy schedule, we are unable to throw Kwasi a send off party but we are so grateful to those who are able to help us send him off to school, preparing him for this next chapter! Because he is going to Canada, it would be difficult to accommodate any gifts since we will be flying. Kwasi's Study Permit unfortunately limits the amount of hours he can work while in school. Your generosity (of any amount) will help cover extra baggage fees, some last minute school fees, housing needs and first grocery run (he is staying off campus!), setting him up for a great first year away from home.
Kwasi Stampley, University School of Milwaukee 2019 Graduate, will be attending Holland College in a few weeks in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, in Canada. Not sure where that is? It's near Nova Scotia and the closest US state is Maine. He was accepted to Berklee School of Music and received an amazing opportunity to attend Holland for two years, an international program through Berklee. He will study on Prince Edward Island for two years and then finish his last two years at Berklee in Boston.
Kwasi is an accomplished musician and a wonderful human being. He formed the band K-STAMP alittle over a year ago and has played on Milwaukee stages including Summerfest, Chill on the Hill, 88.9, Anodyne, Cactus Club among many others. He is an alum of Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Studies where he was a spokesperson for well over 150 corporate and private events. He thrived in Jazz after a 3 year stint in classical guitar at UWM and in Brooklyn at Noel Pointer. His music background prepared him to be the composer and artist he is today. He plans to further his talents in college as a composer and performer. Over the last few years he has immersed himself into music theory and the digital world of Music so he hopes to continue that path as well.
Kwasi has been working hard all summer (gigs and at Outpost!) to save for school fees, plane tickets and we have been able to cover a big chunk but your gift will help ensure he has everything he needs all year. Because the US dollar is stronger than the Canadian dollar, your gift will also stretch further!
