Kreye Adoption

As many of you are aware, we began the adoption process (for the second time) in early 2018. Most of you are unaware, however, that we experienced our first failed adoption in September 2018 after a difficult trip to Florida. We moved on from that and were matched with another expectant mother in Florida in November 2018. We hit it off right away and were excited for a baby boy due in April 2019. In April, the adoption failed and we learned that it was actually adoption fraud. We were devastated and decided to pause on adoption for a while.

In July, we were blessed with our beautiful baby girl. We are still looking forward to growing our family again through adoption. Unfortunately, we lost a significant amount of money through the two failed adoptions. We were blessed to be able to complete our first adoption without having to fundraise and we were expecting to be able to complete a second also, but the two failed adoptions changed that. Our attorney and agencies have kindly offered to lower their fees after everything that happened, but we are still struggling to pull together the required funds to start the process again in 2020. Many of you have graciously asked how you can help, so here it is…

GARAGE SALE. We will be hosting a garage sale in May as a fundraiser. If there are any items that you’d like to get rid of and you’d be willing to donate them to our garage sale, we would be happy to arrange to pick them up at any time.
