The playground at Krepps Park has provided countless hours of fun for generations of children in our community, but the play equipment is worn out from thousands of tiny feet and hands.
The good news is that as part of BOPARC’s Play for All program - with support from WVU Medicine and the City of Morgantown - the playground will be upgraded in 2020. The new play space will be ADA accessible and include slides, swings, a climbing dome and a modern, rubberized safety surface. The funding for the planned upgrade has already been provided. (Note: the tube slide in the illustration above is not included in the Play For All budget.)
The even better news is that YOU have an opportunity to make this playground EVEN MORE FUN! Krepps Park Playground Pals wants to add more fun play equipment to the project -- a TUBE SLIDE and a MERRY-GO-ROUND.
The total cost of these two items is $13,000. Please donate to help us reach our goal of funding these additional components!
IMPORTANT NOTE: these additional funds must be raised by FEBRUARY 7 so the slide and merry-go-round can be purchased in time to install with the rest of the playground.
