Paul Schenderling a single father of 4 had a large cancerous tumor removed from his intestine. It is a rare GIST Stromal tumor. This incredible man raised 4 kids (2 boys 2 girls) by himself the last 13 years, including a special needs daughter. He put his boys through minor hockey which is expensive and time consuming and was always there for all  his kids, all the while running a small painting business. He is an amazing and devoted father. After his surgery he needs time to rest and heal which will take some time.

 As a cancer survivor I know that rest and being as stress free as possible are key in your recovery. I was very fortunate to have the most amazing friends and family that raised funds for my alternative cancer treatments and household expenses. This took all the financial burden off me so the only thing I had to focus on was getting better.                                                                                            I too am a single father of 2 boys.  5 1/2 years ago I was given 6 months to live and my 2 sons were devastated. Paul's youngest son Jeff would come over and pick my sons up and take them for dinner or movies or a hockey game to take their mind off the pain they were feeling. This young man is far more mature than his years. This is the kind of kids Paul raised.

 For me its time to give back and I cant think of a more deserving man to help out than Paul Schenderling and his family. Not having to worry everyday bills for a while key to having a stress free recovery. I feel that was a huge part of my recovery. I have been cancer free for 5 years.

Please help this incredible and devoted father.
