A CALL TO ACTION
   During times of trials and tribulations support and community becomes vital. Most of us can agree that 2020 has been a time of unprecedented difficulty. Due to this, the time has come to help someone who has experienced the brunt of 2020’s wrath.
   A few months ago our friend, Clara Urbahn made the decision to move across the country for a better quality of life. However, recent events have made staying there an impossibility for both her mental and physical health.
   Before moving to Washington, Clara secured a job working at a summer camp. That job was canceled due to the pandemic and she is living off of a quickly dwindling savings. Due to recent events, Clara is trying to get out of her lease and return to New York so she can be surrounded by her community. However, the only way she can get out of this month to month lease is by paying August’s rent. She currently does not have the means to do so. As you can imagine, this situation is stress inducing enough, but Clara has also been a victim of theft. Medications that are vital to maintaining her mental health have gone missing.
   Clara has also very recently gone through losing a loved one and is in mourning. These situations have left her ill-equipped at handling everything that is being thrown at her, and she needs our support.
   Thankfully, a friend has already offered her a plane voucher. However, more support is necessary during this time. Your donations will go toward getting her out of her lease and thereby an awful living condition. It will also provide her with the money necessary to cover day to day expenses. Please donate whatever you can to get Clara home. Our goal is being set at $500 due to the gofundme policy of not being able to withdraw until a goal is met, and the immediacy of her situation. However, please feel free to go above and beyond in order to provide her with the means to cope and move past this difficult time.
