Doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Teddy

Hi everyone, this is Teddy.

Teddy is 5 years old and is fighting a rare type of Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer called nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL).

Teddys family come into our salon so I have been following his journey from the start. He is a little fighter but his story really hit home as I have a daughter a very similar age to Teddy, and I cannot even imagine as a mum, having to watch my own daughter go through the treatment. He’s done it all with the biggest smile on his face.

Me and my friend Greta will be doing the Yorkshire 3 peaks on the 4th September.

Instead of raising money for a charity, I am raising money for Teddy. He’s only 5 and he deserves a big treat after going through all of this. So I am raising the money so that when he is better, him and his family can go and do all of the things he hasn’t been able to while he has been poorly.

Teddy still has a long fight ahead of him, but the treatment IS working and shrinking his tumours, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
