Wheel Chair Van

Hi! My name is Federico Rocco. Twenty two years ago, there were complications with my mothers pregnancy and I was born 3 months prematurely. As a result, I have Cerebral Palsy. CP is a disability in the brain and it affects the limbs of the body. I am not able to walk on my own, so I have a manual wheelchair and a pretty cool powerchair. The problem with having the powerchair is that I am not able to transport it  when I go out into the community because we do not have a wheel chair accessible van. My parents are also getting older and soon will no longer be able to keep lifting me into our van. When they do get me in to take me out into the community,  I am not able to bring my power chair, and my independence is lessened. I am asking for your support in helping us get closer to our goal of buying a wheel chair accessible van so that I am able to keep enjoying life and do not get bound to my home. I would love to get a van so that I can have the independence to travel around a store, or a park with my power chair, and not always need to rely on someone being there to move me around. I would also love for my parents to be able to enjoy going out with me even as they age. I appreciate anything that you can put towards our wish to get a wheel chair accessible van and I thank you for taking the time to read my story.
