Help Linus get to Washington DC

I have a wonderful chance to attend a trip to Washington DC with my 8th grade class. However, this is not a school-sponsored trip. I must raise this money on my own (with some help from my dad), and it would be great if you could help me reach my goal, so that I can attend this trip. We will be going to many memorials, museums, and monuments, all related to the growth of our amazing country.

This trip will be 6 days and 5 nights long, and the cost of the trip has been estimated at about $2,300.

Any extra money received would go to other students in my grade who could not quite afford to go on the trip, or it will be donated to my school, Roseway Heights.

This trip to Washington DC, and many other cities, will bring my 8th grade curriculum alive, inspiring students, myself included, to get involved with first-hand interactive experiences and activities. This trip will provide me with unforgettable experiences, such as standing on the site of Lincoln’s death, or to stare into the eyes of Thomas Jefferson or Martin Luther King Jr. and read their words. I hope to gain an "insiders" perspective on America’s growth, and I ask for your help to get me there.
