Need help paying rent

Firstly i really really really dont want to be doing this, and if i had any other option i would use it.

I got made unemployed towards the end of November, my last wage packet came through on the 22/11. Which i spent on my rent, council tax, car tax, insurance, food, gas/electric/water, and the rest of my bills. that left me with about £60 in my pocket, to cover fuel and trying to get to any interviews i got invited to right up to now basically, so I've had to try to make it stretch as much as I could for whatever i needed.

I put a claim in for Universal credit on the 21/11, which means my assessment period ran from then up to 20/12. on the 24th December i checked my UC portal to see what payment i was due, only to find out it said £0. looking at this in detail it says the amount i received in November meant i wasnt due any money as they expected me to live off the no wages even tho that's basically gone.

After spending hours making phone calls trying to find some way to raise the cash i need to at least pay my rent and keep a roof over my head, and off the streets, I got told to apply for a discretionary housing payment, However, i still wont get a decision on that for around 30 days yet. which again doesn't help me pay my rent, my family have helped me as much as they can possibly stretch but I still cant reach the sufficient funds I need to pay off the bills/rent that I still owe for this month etc.

Now normally 1 months rent behind wouldn't be a big deal for most landlords/housing, but mine isnt willing to accept that under any circumstances whatsoever, despite how much hardship universal credit is putting me under right on xmas aswell

I REALLY REALLY DONT want to be doing this one bit, but i REALLY need your help please in order to keep a roof over my head, and stop me from beginning the new year on the streets and homeless. If you can only afford to give me even 50p/£1 it will go a long way to helping me out, and i will forever appreciate everyone who can help me right now in this time of need. Like I said I dont normally do this but times are desperate and I have to swallow my pride a little so I dont end up homeless and can get back on my feet, as I'm sure alot of you know how rubbish the system is .
