It’s a Long Ride for President James

Each year the President of Bexhill Rotary Club chooses some charities to support. President

for 2023-24, James Slinn, has pledged to raise at least £2500 for DISC Dementia Support and The Sarah Lee Trust by riding 2500 miles on his bike over his year in office. Following on from last year’s Long Walk by President Perry, President James has called his effort The Long Ride.

Both charities aim to give support to the families of people suffering from the life ending

conditions of dementia and cancer.

Dementia Information and Support Courses CIC (DISC) was formed to help the carers of people living with Dementia to understand and cope with the trauma of living with the condition.
