Somos Trans Scholarship Fund

Hello loves,

We are calling on our Somos community to help raise some money to bring out some of our trans brothers and sisters to our queer music and arts festival in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is so important to us to show love and financial support to such an important group of people who enrich our lives so much.

All funds will go towards flights, transportation, and accommodation. Somos will be donating the full weekend festival pass. Applicants will be chosen by Huny Young, Aine Marin, Jerren Werbes and Victor Rodriguez. We will evenly allocate all scholarships between international and Mexican applicants.

Hacemos un llamado a nuestra comunidad Somos para ayudar a recaudar dinero para traer a algunos de nuestros hermanos y hermanas trans a nuestro pequeño paraíso tropical. Es muy importante para nosotros mostrar amor y apoyo financiero a un grupo tan importante de personas que enriquecen tanto nuestras vidas.

Todos los fondos se destinarán a vuelos, transporte y alojamiento. Somos estará donando el pase completo del festival de fin de semana. Los solicitantes serán elegidos al azar y por nuestro embajador de alcance trans (sí, acabamos de inventar ese título, ¡pero es una cosa!) También intentaremos distribuir equitativamente todas las becas entre los solicitantes estadounidenses y mexicanos.
