Life kitchen has officially landed in Sunderland, our school is due to open on the 4th of June, thanks to our amazing builders, contracters and architect team who have donated their time and effort to give us a beautiful cookery school ready to offer life kitchen classes to those who need us.
We are beyond grateful for all of the donations we received to help our school become a reality. As you all are well aware cooking is expensive, the upkeep of a grade 2 listed building even more so.
We are now crowdfunding to help us run the classes the school as been designed for, to help manage our team and to offer the highest quality experience for you all.
Our cookery school is the first of it's kind, not only offering free classes to those living with cancer and their families but also offering wheelchair accessibility so that there no limitation to what we can offer.
Our aim is to raise £20,000 to support this year, to help keep our classes free to our families, friends, neighbours and strangers, to pay bills, help with equipment and buy ingredients.
