Kitsap County Family In Need

There is a family in our community in desperate need. A mother, father and their three sons (ages 4, 10 and 13) have unexpectedly found themselves completely homeless and without income. 

The family’s primary source of earnings was from a restaurant that they opened in Bremerton, but it has recently been shut down. The father is a wonderful cook and his dream has always been to own a restaurant and provide for his family. He wants nothing more than to open that restaurant once again. Due to their circumstances, they are in danger of losing it permanently along with their dream. 

They were living in a camper but it is now leaking and unhealthy.  They need a place to live, owe rent, utilities on the restaurant, and will need additional funds for life essentials.  The boys go to Pinecrest and Fairview Middle School and a preschooler. 

We were able to secure them some beds at a shelter for the time being but this is not a permanent solution. We are currently working with Kitsap County Resources to get them into more permanent housing. 

We are reaching out to our Kitsap community to try and help this wonderful family in need. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. We are so thankful to live in such a wonderful community.
