Hi, my name is Jade, I am Kirk’s sister. I am fundraising for funeral and estate settlement funds for Kirk.
I am currently trying to raise funds to help cover funeral expenses and the costs associated with an unexpected death of someone who was so young. If we exceed our goal any additional funds will go towards other ways to honour Kirk’s memory such as a memorial garden.
On New Year’s Eve 2024 Kirk was found dead. At only 36 years of age this has come as an enormous shock to all of his family and friends. We are beyond devastated at losing Kirk. We currently do not have any explanation for his cause of death. We expect to have an answer from the coroner some time in the future. After this process will we be able to make funeral arrangements, which I will be sharing at that time.
Kirk was 36 years old. He was born and raised in Goulburn and then moved to Canberra for college where he spent most of his adult life. He had one son, Dylan, who is now 17. Within the last year he moved to the south coast. Kirk has always dreamed of living a quieter life near the beach with more peaceful surroundings and he was genuinely looking forward to his future in the Bega area. Kirk was a jeweller by trade but he moved in to the heavy vehicle and concreting business which he thrived in.
Kirk was a gentle soul. He was cheeky and kind and undeserving of this. My heart breaks knowing that I will never see him again.
