KINTSUGI: The art of healing

Hi, my name is Claudia La Bianca, I used to be a little girl with dreams, now I’m a woman with vision, I make dreams come true and I cannot wait to introduce you to Kintsugi: The Art of Healing.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer powdered gold.
As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as an art. A repaired piece highlights the scars as the history of an object, as what the object has survived, rather than something to disguise.

With global pandemic and global conflict, loss of life, lost love, guilt, shame and so much suffering. We are all broken. It is time to heal.

This art piece starts with the Guardians of the Heart. These sentinels stand guard to protect the heart with vigilant eyes. Within the Guardians, you can research the artifacts of pain, loss, guilt and shame. Each token is a memorial to a heart wrenching story that serves as fuel for the Guardians. They never forget each wound the heart has suffered. These soldiers turn these artefacts into the bricks they will use to protect the heart by building a wall around it. But while walls can protect, they cannot heal a broken heart.

When it is time to heal, like this ancient Japanese art, we turn to nature. Walk through the forest that feeds the heart and spin the larger-than-life rotating heart… and observe. The heart knows what medicine it needs… what medicine you need: love, connection, gratitude. The forest will guide you. Each tree will help you on your journey.
