Last Sunday night, fires
began tearing through neighborhoods in Santa Rosa, CA, leaving my best friend, Kim & her Mom, Gayle's home and car in ashes. Thankfully, they were able to evacuate quickly and get to safety, leaving with only a few belongings and one of their kittys. Unfortunately, they were forced to leave behind their other cat, Sukhi, and a lifetime of memories & treasured possesions.
Along with many of my friends in Sonoma County, Kim & Gayle will have a long road ahead rebuilding their lives. They've lost everything in this fire but are grateful they have each other. Donations are greatly needed and appreciated for basic living expenses, clothing, and food. At this time, we really have no idea what this will cost but thought we'd start somewhere.
