Kilimanjaro Direct: Online Fundraiser

This fundraiser has been set up to help raise funds for a family of women living in Tanzania. The three girls and their mother are in desperate need of a new home. Their current hut has holes throughout the structure, leaving the women vulnerable to outside elements and, most damaging, rain.  They are also in need of proper plumbing and electricity. The living conditions currently being endured by this family have led to ill health and depression amongst the family members. For approximately €12,000, Kilimanjaro Direct will be able to provide this family with proper shelter and will  install solar panels and access to water. €3,000 has already been raised. If you can, please donate. Your donations will go directly to the building of a new home for this family. Kilimanjaro Direct takes no percentage of funds raised. This is a great opportunity to do something good. Your '"little" really will do a lot.

Five artists will perform in a short video which will be uploaded on Fri, 23rd October at 7 p.m. (Event page: "Kilimanjaro Direct Fundraiser") Featured artists include Hot House Flowers member, Fiachna O'Braonáin, Kilkenny based singer-songwriter Elise and female trio SOLA, with poetry from Gerry Cody and Emily Murray. You can donate at any point in the days preceding the event.
