Thank you for visting our page. We are currently in the process of a domestic adoption through Lifeline Children's Services. We are reaching out for support to help with the adoption fees.
Here is our story:
Gunnar and Brooke got married on May 8, 2009. A few short months after that Brooke found out she was pregnant! They both were very suprised and excited.
On March 29, 2010 their son Blake was born. About 12 hours after giving birth Brooke became very sick and had trouble breathing. The medical team jumped into action. She found out later that her lungs were very full with fluid and her heart was very weak and not pumping properly. After many tests and procedures the doctors discovered that Brooke had a form of heart disease caused by pregnancy and she will no longer be able to carry children. This was heart breaking to everyone. Brooke was a previously healthy twenty-one year old with no history of medical problems.
After a few years Brooke got better with the help of great medical professionals. Her doctor said that as long as she doesn't carry another baby she should be symptom free. She has been symptom free for over 4 years.
