Key West Hurricane Relief

Since CrossFit Winter Garden opened its door just shy of 1 year ago we have done some amazing thing with raising money and supplies.
Whether it was our #handstands4hudsons campaign that raised over $14,000 dollars in just a few weeks or the amazing relief effort we put fourth for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
While our backs were turned and our focus was on Hurricane Harvey, The most devastating hurricane to ever hit the Florida Keys was sneaking in the back door.
Hurricane Irma destroyed my home town and displaced everyone of my friends and family members.
The reason behind the gofundme is for logisticsal reasons. We were so blessed with the outpouring of support for Hurricane Harvey that getting the supplies to Texas became difficult. After speaking with family and friends briefly in Key West they are surviving in a day to day basis and their needs are changing daily. We decided to collect as much money as we could for devastated areas and right before we left buy exactly what they needed.
As a First Responder in the Keys for almost 15 years this cause is near and dear to my heart. I've been where they are at for multiple hurricanes and know what its like to put my life on hold to help others. This campaign will go to not only help those in need but also those on the front lines.
As of right now we have one large generator, 6 chainsaws, cases of tarps, tools, gas cans and everything that we could get our hands on to help the specfic needs of those in the relief efforts, The Pet Alliance of Orange County has donated not only a 16 foot enclosed trailer but has filled it with 2 tons of dog food and beds that we will be bringing down with us as well.
Orchard Hardware has donated a ton of hardware and items to help as well.
Whatever you can donate will help, $5 will buy a case of water, $10 will buy cleaning supplies, $20 will feed and water someone for a day. What we take for grantite everyday they may not have for months!!!
All money raised will go to buying immediate need supplies.
