Kevin’s Kicking Cancer

Hi, my name is Teresa Chrisman. You may know me from my new role as Sheriff of Florence County or coaching Florence high school volleyball or you know my kids, but I’m also a sister. It is difficult to begin this or ask but here we go…my brother, Kevin Richtig, was recently diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in his esophagus/stomach. He is unable to work and treatment is starting. However, this means a lot of travel outside the area, for treatments and medical attention. Any little bit can help him with the already quickly mounting medical bills and continuous monthly bills to support himself and his daughter Sophia, with no income coming in. Again, this is never easy but with the love and support of all of his family and friends we will fight this! Kevin has touched many people over the years; either by his working at the radio stations, announcing at Skiters or entertaining musically in our area for decades and most recently delivering your mail as a mail carrier. Kevin’s post office family is planning a benefit dinner at the C&R bar on September 10th, more details of that to come. And in true Kevin fashion we hope to also have a Band/Music jam October 21 (his birthday) at the CnR. More details to come for that as well.
